I realize there is always a certain amount of PC, but the marxist/feminist kind we have experienced the past forty years makes McCarthyism seem like child's play. What do you think? Personal stories? Smitty What was wrong with McCarthyism? Or are you confusing it with the House UnAmerican Activities Committee (HUAC)? Joe McCarthy was a SENATOR. That means he was a member of the SENATE. He never belonged to the HOUSE. Hence, he never had anything to do with those 1950's televised HOUSE hearings where Hollywood commies were dusted out from under their dirty beds. Conveniently most Baby Boomer liberals today get those "inconvenient" facts all mixed up in their drug addled brains as they desperately rewrite history every day. Also, Tailgunner Joe (the war hero and Senator from Wisconsin) never pointed a finger at anyone who wasn't later proven to be a bona fide communist. He was right every time. HTH.
